Remnants
of war and other endeavours litter the beaches like fossils.
Some we preserve and exhibit while others we ignore in the hope
that they'll eventually disappear. Then there are those which
we proudly show off with a big toothy grin knowing full well
that in a few years they are going to become a problem
we'll be stuck with for hundreds of years. Well, not
us personally, we'd never be that stupid.
